What a year 2014 has been!
I've worked with some wonderful people and learnt so, so much about both photography and myself in the process.
2015 looks like being another steep learning curve as I go to part-time teaching, do more photography and get this baby up and running with Michelle.
I'm also looking forward to (finally) having the time to properly look after myself - I wouldn't call it a New Year's resolution as much as trying to fulfil a long-held promise to myself that if I got to the stage where I was teaching part-time I would absolutely-definitely-no-buts-ifs-or-whats-about-it do whatever it is I need to do to get my body and soul on a more even keel.
As the year draws to a close, it has been quite cathartic to go through my archives and look at where I've been, who I've been there with and where that leads me to in the not too distant future. Below are some highlights from 2014.
Fun and games with the Walker-Speers family.
Barringwood in summer sunshine.
A sweet birthday party.
An April garden wedding.
Exploring Highfield House at Stanley.
A girls' weekend for The Photo School at The Apple Shed.
Boxing Day fun and games with the family.
What have been your highlights of 2014? What in particular are you looking forward to in the coming year? How did you spend your New Year's Eve? (Humour me, I'm nosy!)
Wishing you all the best for 2015.
