I've been a bit quiet on this here blog of late - it tends to go that way as I get back into a school-time routine for the term. It has been a really positive start to Term 4 for me, I'm feeling (relatively) calm and satisfied with the knowledge that I'm doing the best I can - it's not perfect, I still procrastinate from marking for too long (just one example), but I'm only human and I've gotten to a point where I refuse to spend seven days a week doing schoolwork. I'm now at a point where I can have Saturdays for a mental break and not feel guilty about it. Well. Not too guilty. It has taken a very long time (ten years of teaching) to get to that point.
Aside from teaching, I've been getting organised with photography for the latter part of this year and for next year. I've been taking bookings and have a few bits and pieces lined up that I'm really excited about - I'll post more about that stuff as it happens. One thing that is happening very soon (tomorrow in fact) that I'm excited about is the Cradle Coast Farmer's Market's first anniversary. Not only am I going along, but I'll be taking photos as well. Needless to say, I'm chuffed to be involved. You might have seen the market on Ben's Menu? It's only been operating for a year but is very highly regarded by locals. I'm hoping to share the photos in a post later next week, so be sure to check back for that!
What has been happening in your neck of the woods? Do tell!
