Have you noticed the change in light lately? The change that gets us all starting to think spring-like thoughts? I have. I've spoken before about how much I enjoy the change of seasons. I relish the time when summer makes way for cool autumn days. The feeling of hibernation setting in as autumn cosily welcomes winter. And, of course the moment when winter steps aside and lets in the sun (and rain, and then sun, and then the rain again - not to mention the gusty wind doing its best to help nature do her thing, strewing and seeding and pollinating.) The birds are back from their winter spell away and make getting up in the mornings that little bit more pleasant. Blossoms are starting to appear; jonquils making way for sunny daffodils and joy-of-joys more afternoon light. The best kind.
Friday saw me travel to Launceston for a meeting and on the way home I stopped off at Anvers for lunch. And to stock up on chocolate truffles. My favourites are the dark chocolate ones. Do you have a preferred truffle flavour?
Wishing you a lovely, light-filled week.
