So, I'm going to make a suggestion here - if you're kinda sorta pretty much into flowers then next year you should definitely go to the Circular Head Garden Spectacular. There were around about eleventy frillion gorgeous arrangements to look at and a huge variety of flowers within those. There were also around about eleventy frillion people who went along yesterday (that might be a slight exaggeration, but it was a very well attended event!)
I loved seeing the different themed displays in each of the rooms in Highfield House and I also thought seeing the steers in action was awesome. I don't know why but cows just crack me up, they always have. I wanted to give them a pat on the head but I'm a bit wary of those horns, so I just took their picture instead. My favourite was 'Tiger' mostly because it's a brilliant name to give a cow but also because he was being a bit of a bored teenager and probs just wanted to go play on his Xbox or something instead of dragging a sled around a paddock. (Are Xboxes still a thing? I have no idea.) Mum and I had lunch with her friend and a good look around, then we popped down to Touchwood for a coffee and the nice lady there said we'd be helping her out if we wanted to have the last slice of cheesecake. We're pretty selfless, so we agreed to assist. It's hard work but someone's got to do it. Aaaaand, then we went home. The end! Naomi Click here to book
