Mum and I found ourselves doing a bit of road tripping yesterday, winding our way out to Narawntapu National Park and East Devonport beach. I'd never been to either before and it's always such a good thing to be able to see something new in your own part of the state.
We didn't spot any wombats while we were at Narawntapu, but could see plenty of evidence of them having been there (lots and lots of droppings around!)
It was a lovely, sunny day but so very windy and blustery! I'm surprised I managed to get anything at all in focus on camera! We also managed to make friends with a couple of beautiful horses while taking photos outside a run-down old homestead, which is also always a very good thing to be able to do!
I'm so grateful that we have these beautiful landscapes and places to explore right on our doorstep here on the NW coast, and in Tasmania in general - there's always something interesting to see if you're prepared to look for it!
