Today, I bought a cloche. When I Instagrammed myself wearing it, I mentioned that it's a little bit like "I bought a Jeep" but with less wheels. I've not usually been one for hats - I have a sunhat for summer (which has gone missing), I have a woollen hat for winter (a cross between a beanie and a beret) and now I have a cloche for ... well, I'm not really sure when. Wherever and wherever possible, likely. It looks a smidge like a horse-riding helmet up there, but I love it on. How do you feel about hats? Are you for or against? I only really started wearing them when I started straightening my hair - hat hair is a bit easier to manage when it's straight.
I bought a few pairs of shoes and a few tops as well. I'm one of those people that hardly ever goes clothes shopping, but when I do, I tend to go a bit nuts. More often than not, I completely forget that I can actually buy clothes, so I guess it's okay to indulge a bit when I do actually go shopping.
What are you like as a shopper for clothes? Is it something you do often, or do you tend to save it all up for fewer, big sessions?
Wishing all the mothers (in all forms) out there a wonderful day today - a very happy Mother's Day to my mum Anne who is such an inspiring lady (you can follow her on Instagram @anne20y).
